Citrulline Malate
Citrulline malate, unflavoured. One ingredient.
Citrulline malate is L-citrulline bound to malic acid, and that malic acid is what gives it a distinctly sour, tart edge straight out of the tub. It is not unpleasant — it tastes like a very sharp lemon — but it is noticeable.
The easiest way to take it is in citrus juice or a tart cordial, where the sourness reads as part of the drink rather than an intrusion. In plain water it is harder work.
